Print/Packaging Quality Manager (Relocation Assistance Available)--Near Scranton, PA

New opening for a Quality Manager near Scranton, PA. Must have experience within print or packaging for consideration. Pay starting at $70-$80k+ on base, full benefits package and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include the following:

-Support the General Manager in establishing SQF as the foundation of the company’s food safety and quality culture.

-Establish food safety and quality objectives for the company, including objectives of improving performance with respect to non-conforming product and customer/consumer complaints.

-Develop and maintain the documentation which describes the company’s policies and procedures to meet its food safety and quality objectives, including all of the prerequisite programs which are the foundation of the food safety and quality program.

-Track the company’s progress toward meeting these objectives and identify resources and corrective actions that are needed to stay on track against these objectives.

-With other functions (Management, Production, Purchasing), develop the control plans and specifications needed to ensure that the company’s products meet requirements for safety, quality and legality.

-Develop and manage the HACCP Plan.

-Oversee the Quality Assurance Department’s role in auditing the safety and quality of the company’s products by auditing the measurements taken to ensure that raw materials, process conditions, finished product and the production environment are within the limits that have been set to ensure the safety, quality and legality of the company’s products.
