Software Engineer - Backend

At City Storage Systems, we're building Infrastructure for Better Food. We help restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery. Our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality and convenient for everyone. We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.

What you’ll do

Owns larger features or components within projects

Test software development methodology in an agile environment

Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms

Work alongside other engineers to elevate technology and improve systems overall

Write, debug, maintain, and test code

Design scalable, fault tolerant architectural systems

Develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related

5-7 years of working experience in software development

Good communication skills and fluent English speaking are highly preferred

This role is based in our Beijing office location. We believe that people do their best work when they are together. As a company, we’re in the marketplace of ideas and innovation.
