Technical Designer Pattern Maker Pattern Creation from Design to Sample Shoot
- Develop accurate and detailed patterns based on design specifications, sketches, or only sample garment images.
- Conduct fitting sessions and make necessary adjustments to patterns for better fit and functionality as per requirement.
- Conduct grading of patterns to create size variations while maintaining design proportions as per UK & US Brands.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create patterns.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in pattern creation to ensure accurate and consistent results.

- Collaborate with designers to ensure that patterns meet design and fit requirements as per buyer standards.
- Have a deep understanding of different fabrics, materials, and their properties to create patterns suitable for specific textiles with the style requirement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation for each pattern, including specifications, construction details, and any alterations made during the fitting process - online portal.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design, sampling, and quality control to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the garment making/technicalities rightly executed.
- Work closely with sample makers to create prototypes based on the patterns, ensuring the accuracy of the final product.
- Participate in quality control processes to identify and resolve pattern-related issues if needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and advancements in pattern-making technology and share knowledge with designers.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or Pattern Making, or a related field. Several years of experience as a Pattern Maker in the fashion industry and with R&D team.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of pattern-making techniques, garment construction, and fit.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for pattern making - Gerber. Extreme level of proficiency in understanding the standard measurements knowledge of UK/ US brands and developing new designs from no blocks ref.
Should know Clo 3D software.
