Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations
Schedule and allocate resources to achieve production target(s)
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee morale
Ensure that the safety culture improves and strictly adheres to
Ensure the plant managers drive defined development initiatives of their staff
Ensure adherence to Quality, Environmental Health and Safety requirements of the Organization
Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement and opportunity for growth
Continually monitor and review manufacturing performance against agreed objectives and take necessary actions where appropriate
Review with the Business Development Manager the future requirements of the plant
Develop plans to improve the plants manufacturing and technical performances
Liaise with the other departments to ensure finance targets, delivery schedules, quality and market needs are achieved
Must to be known for leading with integrity and helping to build an open culture based on trust
Empathy and promoting a culture of constructive feedback where people can express themselves safely
Must be a solution oriented with a deep commitment to continuous improvement aligning with the needs of both internal and external customers
Carry out all activities in compliance to relevant environmental laws and industry standards
Requirements
BSc. in Electrical/Automation engineering or any other related engineering courses
Certificate in PLC programming
Minimum of 8 - 12 years in packaging industry
Minimum of 5 years as a plant head in packaging industry
Experience in Operation, Maintenance, QC and HSE
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Time management skills
Very detailed and disciplined in enforcing staff discipline and building motivated staff
Experience in Policy setting and implementation
