Role Summary:

The resource will be responsible for software development of Configure, Price & Quote (CPQ) tools and Sizing & selection tools by using C#, VB.Net, MS-SQL Server / Oracle Server for Windows and Web-Based Application development, in-line with software development life cycle, by collaborating with global teams and leading industry subject matter experts. We are looking for someone who can combine out of the box ideas with the practical application of analytical thinking. Your job will not be to simply capture business requirements and convert them to code. In this role, you will need to identify legitimate business need, and intelligently design a solution that addresses that business need but also stimulates process improvement.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Responsible for all phases of the system development / implementation life cycle which includes Development, UAT and postproduction support.

Responsible for writing script, stored procedures, views, functions using database applications such as Oracle CPQ, MS-SQL Server, Oracle server, Sybase database and MS Access.

Strong knowledge in development of Windows Application and Services by using C# and VB.Net.

Strong knowledge in development and customization of web / database-oriented applications by using Dot Net.

Responsible for Whitebox testing and code optimization for the software development and documentation.

Communicate and work closed with the Product Engineering team and Business development teams to deliver the relevant technical solutions.

Provide the level-3 software support to end user and support team

BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Proficient in C# Windows service and WinForms application with minimum of 3-years of development hands on experience.

Experience in web-based GUIs using VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, JavaScript and JQuery.

Primary development support in MS-SQL Server / Oracle Server with minimum of 2-year experience.

Added advantage in Sybase database / MS Access.

Added advantage in any CPQ tool such as Oracle CPQ/Big Machines, Salesforce CPQ valve/pump/seals related CPQ application.

Experience in technical skill with database application.

Excellent in analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to handle multitask and work independently within the team under planned schedule environment.

Experience in Automated API Tool testing projects/applications is preferred.
