Network Administrator

Debbieâ s Staffing is now recruiting a Network Administrator to work for our client located in Winston Salem, NC. (with travel to other North America sites)

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (non-exempt, overtime eligible)

Work Hours: Typically, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible based on operational needs)

Job Summary: As a Network Administrator, you'll be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining network systems and computer hardware across our North America facilities. This role involves collaborating with various teams for project implementation and troubleshooting. Occasional travel to our Wilson, NC headquarters and other sites is required.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain North America servers.

Monitor and optimize server performance.

Ensure physical security of servers.

Administer and manage server backup systems.

Maintain network security and documentation.

Recommend network and system improvements.

Configure, install, and support hardware and networking devices.

Provide 24/7 on-call support during peak production.

Travel to various sites for maintenance and projects.

Manage inventory and comply with standards and policies.

Provide end-user support and maintain documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

3 years' experience in networking or 5 years' experience with a two-year degree.

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory.

Experience with Windows Server and Desktop OS.

Familiarity with backup and SAN systems (Veeam and NetApp preferred.)

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Willingness to travel occasionally to Wilson, NC, and other sites.

Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain confidentiality.

Self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.
