Radiance is hiring for a Software Developer who will support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The Software Developer will join a team providing operations and sustainment (O&S) support necessary to maintain, sustain, deploy, and provide software development enhancements for maritime content dissemination, intelligence product creation, and intelligence product dissemination. The chosen candidate will develop and integrate software such that other programs and capabilities can leverage the services provided to the widest extent possible.

Job Responsibilities

Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle, responsible for providing custom software development support on a variety of Full and Open Stack platforms. Activities will include the development, modernization, and refinement of applications, software, services, utilities, interfaces, and systems that support systems and analysts.

Participate in Agile activities and ceremonies (e.g., standup, planning, increment planning); will participate and collaborate with team members to assess StoryPoint / complexity efforts (using best practices), will prepare, and produce releases of software component, will provide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions, and will participate in and provide feedback in a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery Pipeline.

Perform early exploratory testing during the development phase; develop and execute test plans, support formal testing and resolve defects.

Provide occasional Tier 3 support, to include after-hours availability.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field

Ability to communicate technical details of work

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and complete work in timely manner

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Active TS/SCI, with CI poly (or willingness/ability to sit for CI poly)

Desired Qualifications

Experience or direct knowledge of the relevant technology stacks: REACT, Python (with Flask), Java, Perl, Angular, PHP, HTML with CSS, PostgreSQL, in-house built GN editor, GEOINT Access and Information Sharing (GEOAxIS) integration, Matomo, PaaS, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, AWS/C2S, Zookeeper, Documentum, Apache Tomcat, Apache Solr, Apache Webserver, Gluster, Gunicorn, SFTP Alfresco HTTP, Oracle, Postgres, ImageMagick, and ODS S3 buckets
