We are looking for an experienced IT Program Manager to join our technology-based program supporting a key functional program area providing full lifecycle engineering support for systems monitoring and applications management services that provide systems alerts, including monitoring for enterprise system performance and availability and providing guidance and engineering for upgrades, systems modifications, and updates. The functional area also provides operational support for applications deployed across the sponsor's enterprise, including release management configuration management and data analysis. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience providing top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government.

Responsibilities:
Manage the IT Enterprise Field Ops team
Work with the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and the Field Ops team to identify opportunities to automate and refine processes/activities and lead the team to develop automated capabilities.
Support the IT Enterprise Ops PM
Write change requests, manage team workloads, manage Jira board
Use existing ServiceNow queues to develop and deliver metrics that enable the operations team to adopt a continuous improvement mindset
Develop, track, and manage team pilot deployment schedules
Act as central communication liaison between field partners and the field team
Ensure compliance with established change management policies and processes in the team’s execution of system engineering duties
Lead the proper closure of IT incidents with service teams to ensure true root cause and future mitigation plans are reached.Required Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of five years experience leading teams (minimum team size of four administrators/engineers).
Ability to identify gaps in operational communications and communicate appropriate questions to service teams; must have an investigative mindset
Experience creating, analyzing and briefing out Jira board’s reports and dashboards to provide team work tracking metrics
Excellent communications skills
Ability to translate communications and updates between engineering cadre customer leadership
Experience working and communicating across cross-functional IT enterprise teams
