Sr. PLC Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Senior Maintenance Technician-PLC (also known as Electrical Maintenance Specialist, Automation Technician), you'll ensure equipment uptime through in-depth electrical troubleshooting of 480VAC & 24VDC components. You'll have a strong working knowledge of various operating systems in the plant, including Allen Bradley (AB), B&R automation, Siemens, and Zenon. You'll also work directly with Maintenance Technicians, Machine Operators, Supervisors, and Managers to resolve both electrical and mechanical issues, and implement best practices aligned with maintenance strategies.Benefits

High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation, or a similar field is preferred.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in an electrical maintenance environment and in a similar position. Experience managing people/projects is a plus.

Proficiency in troubleshooting operating systems such as Allen Bradley (AB), B&R, or Siemens, and working with electrical systems including 480VAC & 24VDC power.

Experience with RSLogix 5000, SIMATIC Step 7, and Factory Talk Studio.

Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, process, and instrumentation diagrams.

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing variable frequency drives, servomotors and controllers, communication systems, PLC input/output cards, and safety modules.

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
