One of our most trusted clients in the Humble area is seeking a Certified Professional Coder who will provide quality reviews and analyses of a wide range of patient medical records ensuring accuracy of coding and maintaining records following the applicable medical and legal standards. Certified Professional Coder’s Responsibilities

Identify discrepancies, potential quality of care, and billing issues that may arise.

Research, analyze, recommend, and facilitate a plan of action to correct discrepancies and prevent future coding errors.

Identify reportable elements, complications, and other procedures.

Certified Professional Coder’s Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

A Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or in the process of obtaining one is required.

Two (2) years of experience in coding cardiology and vascular procedure is required; Orthopedics or Podiatry experience is highly preferred.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer skills is required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
