Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead software development teams and drive the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions. As the Senior Program Manager, you will oversee the development and deployment of cutting-edge software projects, leveraging AI and ML technologies to deliver innovative solutions. Your expertise in leading agile development teams as a Scrum Master or Product Owner, along with your strong leadership skills, will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of complex software development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage multiple software development programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.

- Provide overall program leadership, including planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, technical leads, and project teams to define program scope, goals, and deliverables.

- Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, developing strategies and contingency plans to mitigate them.

- Develop and maintain program schedules, resource allocation, and budget management to effectively meet project timelines and financial targets.

- Lead agile development teams, either as a Scrum Master or Product Owner, promoting collaboration, iteration, and continuous improvement.

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and best practices.

- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging creativity and problem-solving within the development teams.

- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates, status reports, and executive summaries.

- Act as a primary point of contact for customer interactions, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the program lifecycle.

- Work closely with technical leads and solution architects to shape the technical strategy and roadmap for AI and ML initiatives.

- Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the software development teams.

- Build and mentor high-performing software development teams, fostering their professional growth and promoting a culture of excellence.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI, ML, and software development methodologies, sharing knowledge and best practices across the organization.

- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations for future software development initiatives, incorporating AI and ML technologies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience (10+ years) leading software development programs, with a focus on AI/ML projects.

- Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner in leading agile development teams.

- Strong understanding of AI and ML concepts, algorithms, and applications, as well as a solid grasp of software development principles and practices.

- Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure, is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a track record of successfully managing complex software development projects.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Proactive mindset, with the ability to identify and address risks, issues, and challenges in a timely manner.

- Experience working in fast-paced environments with rapidly evolving technologies.

- Relevant certifications, such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Product Owner (CSPO), are a plus.
