Accounting & Financial Assistant in Romania

This is a remote position.

Daily accounting tasks such as general ledger entries, recording payments, invoices and adjustments, bank reconciliations.

Generating, updating, and reviewing financial and key performance indicator reports for internal use and identify actionable items.

Agency and agent license compliance oversight, including agent appointment with carriers

Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as processing, recording, and collecting invoices or processing customer refunds

Maintain accurate information within the CRM database, adhering to company quality and compliance standards.

Customer service for clients and other departments. Contacting clients to discuss their accounts.

Other tasks and projects within the accounting department.

Requirements

University Degree in Accounting or related field

English fluency is a must (written and verbal)

Accounting or related experience minimum 1-2 years. US GAAP 1-2 years experience is a plus!

Flexibility, excellent communication, persuasion, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills

Fast learner, excellent attention to detail and follow-through

High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability

Ability to build relationships with clients, brokers, and internal departments. Teamwork.

Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel & Word) and PC skills
