The position will report to the Operations Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and coordinate maintenance team and the day-to-day maintenance activities
Ensure all department workers adhere to the quality standards and safety policies and procedures
Recruit and train maintenance technicians
Identify and resolve maintenance-related issues that impact plant productivity, efficiency, safety or product quality
Schedule and assign works to maintenance technicians based on priority, skill level, and workload; establish strategies to meet workload demands on time
Manage assigned budget keeping it under control; evaluate repair cost estimates
Work closely with vendors, outsourced service providers, and contractors in order to assure assets’ performance in line with Company goals
Manage spare parts inventory, vendor contracts, and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective replacement of worn-out parts and equipment
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair costs to identify trends, track performance, and forecast future maintenance needs
Provide directives and tools in case of faults in order to operate efficiently; handle emergency situations for repair and maintenance instructions
Create maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance checklists and troubleshooting guidelines
Define upgrades, overhauls, and other changes to major systems and equipment.
Define and execute Yearly Maintenance Plan during the two seasonal plant downtime (August and December)
Develop relevant KPI’s for Maintenance department
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Good understanding of industrial automation related to Siemens PLC platforms
Able to use mobile technology and different software solutions like computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Knowledge of lean manufacturing maintenance management based on TPM, WCM organization
Advanced level of English knowledge.
