Job Summary:

Preparing bid requests, contract proposals, and other documents needed to initiate a procurement process.

Locates and works with the appropriate departments to qualify new suppliers.

Negotiate the execution of agreements to secure a competitive market position for Neogen.

Identifies key materials for the company and secures secondary/tertiary suppliers for these items.

Maintains a pulse on market conditions for the designated product lines/commodities and recommends needed actions to minimize risks for the company.

Onboards New Suppliers to ensure all needed forms/documentation has been completed.

Works with Quality and Regulatory departments to resolve any identified issues/risks with a supplier.

Work closely with all internal stakeholders and departments.

Education and Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing/purchasing organization at global company

Bachelor of Science or Higher Education

Experience with SAP preferred

Experience with Microsoft 365 especially excel and Power BI

Experience across commodities in Pharma/Life Science, Automotive or Aerospace is an advantage.

Experience in leading negotiations and managing small to medium value procurement projects.
