Job Description
Lantheus is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to oversee and manage the Lantheus Managed Service Provider and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Cloud services, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and possess the ability to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based systems.Essential Functions
Design, develop, and deploy Azure services and tools using infrastructure-as-code
Manage and monitor cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, databases, networks, data backup, and virtual desktops
Manage Azure Backup
Manage Azure Virtual Desktop
Manage Azure Identity and Access Management
Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Automation scripts, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) artifacts to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources
Implement best practices for resource utilization and cost management
Migrate existing VMWare infrastructure to cloud-based solution
Optimize performance and scalability
Monitor, control costs
Support day-to-day running of the infrastructureMinimum Skills and Experience
10+ year’s hands-on technical experience, including:
6+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure
In-depth knowledge of Azure services, networking, and security
Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, or other tools for cloud monitoring and logging
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI)
Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Experience in implementing cloud security, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, firewall, etc.
Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus
Previous experience in overseeing infrastructure within a Managed Service Provider setting is a plus
