Full Time Building Substitute Teacher

The Goddard School, located in Marshallton(West Chester), a preschool/childcare center, is currently seeking a loving, fun, and energetic full-time building substitute teacher to join our team! Experience working in an early childhood setting is helpful, but we are also happy to help a great candidate just entering this field. As a full time substitute, you will gain experience working with children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. This is a great way to get your feet wet in the world of early childhood education!

Candidates will be selected based on their ability to engage children in a safe, nurturing and loving manner, as well as effectively communicate with co-teachers and families. Our teachers create engaging learning environments filled with opportunities to explore, discover, and create with their teachers right by their sides guiding their learning process! Responsibilities:

Our teachers care and educate our children, while meeting the individual needs of each child.

Our teachers creatively customize and implement weekly lesson plans and schedules.

Our teachers interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.

Our teachers communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.

Compliance with current governmental regulations and company procedures and policies.
