CompensationCompensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Compensation Analyst II to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a hybrid role and the position is a mix of work-from-office/work-from-home.

Your Role:

The Compensation Analyst II supports in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. The incumbent provides analytical support for various compensation activities and programs. The Analyst also helps in interpreting internal and external data to ensure Cox Automotive’s desired position in the market and overall compensation objectives are achieved, including the ability to attract and retain talent. They assist on a variety of special projects that include pay administration, bonus administration, and long-term incentives. The Analyst assists with Compensation-related projects, presentation, and communication materials that may involve revision, development and/or re-design of existing compensation programs. This position may also support the development of compensation strategy, design, policies, and guidelines.

Job Summary:

Provides detailed analysis and creates presentation material on Compensation related items including pay data, industry benchmarking, and internal pay practices.

Reviews the classification of jobs through job evaluation and calibration across the enterprise to ensure grade alignment per the career architecture leveling guide.

Supports in the administration of Compensation programs including annual review cycle, long term incentive process (LTIP), and other processes as identified by leadership.

Evaluates and recommends areas of improvement to Compensation's guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Works with Compensation management on various projects including providing analytical support, as needed.

Assists in the documentation of Compensation policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as the creation of presentation materials

Assists in providing guidance consultation and education to HR Business Partners on all matters of compensation (ex. internal and external equity issues, base pay, long/short term incentives, other rewards)

Creates materials to assist in the education of HR business partners, business managers and employees on compensation policies, philosophy, and practices, as needed.

May perform other initiatives as assigned by department leadership.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in related field and 2 years’ experience directly related to compensation administration and analysis, data/analytics/data modelling, or finance analytics. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in compensation administration and analysis, data/analytics/data modelling, or finance analytics.

Qualitative and analytical skills including manipulating data, querying, and reporting. Must have ability to analyze and research compensation trends and partner with appropriate internal and external resources.

Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups and other advanced functions). Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Systems experience including, reporting and data management within a database, e.g., PeopleSoft, WorkDay, Kronos, Pay Factors, Oracle, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of market pricing, job evaluation tools and techniques and salary administration.

Highly detailed with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture, provide insights and recommendations.

Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.

Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable reports and metrics.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act compliance requirements and other applicable laws.
