Position Description:

As a Data and Analytics Strategist Consultant, you will act as a leader and higher-level consultant to collaborate closely with our clients to develop and execute data-driven strategies. Your expertise will guide them in making informed decisions, optimizing processes, and achieving their business goals. You’ll work on diverse projects, from data governance to advanced analytics, and play a pivotal role in shaping our clients’ success. The Senior Solution Architect has deep business process knowledge. This position is relied on as the expert in design and evaluation of proposed solutions.

Leverage your skills in process and functional assessments and be assigned to strategic accounts to influence the customer’s future SAP and non-SAP direction. Leverage trusted partnerships with customers to grow revenue by recommending project improvements, participating in assessments, roadmap activities and acting as a key consultant for client opportunities.

Summary:

Strategy Development: Partner with clients to define data and analytics strategies aligned with their objectives. Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation.

Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on data governance, data quality, and best practices. Help clients navigate complex data landscapes.

Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Evaluate their impact on data strategy and recommend adoption strategies.

Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in implementing data initiatives. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Performance Metrics: Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of data solutions.

Change Management: Drive cultural change within client organizations, promoting data literacy and fostering a data-driven mindset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Solve complex business problems by architecting data analytics and strategy solutions

Streamline business processes by leveraging deep knowledge in functions and best practices.

Participate in business process and functional assessments that stabilize and position further projects to optimize the customer’s SAP and other investments

Credibility towards the client is based on business and product knowledge. Use this credibility to advise client and provide guidance towards the best holistic project solution

Establish customer alignment by being seen as a trusted/ practical advisor

Regarded by colleagues as thought leader and mentor

Broad business process knowledge along with deep technical skills in data analytics and data strategy

Ability to explain abstract and complex solutions in a way that the customer understands

Gather requirements and develop functionalities

Ability to create business process reviews and long term road maps for the client

Follow up and document results

Act as Trusted advisor to the project team (NTT Data Business Solutions Inc. and customer)

Support project managers and engagement directors in managing customer expectation

Lead assigned team resources from NDBS or the client

Generation of follow up business through existing client relationships

Follow up on execution/adherence of proposed solution on a regular basis

Mitigate future risks by addressing them early on

Utilize the trusted advisor position to influence the client

Ability to deliver difficult information at all organizational levels and determine appropriate courses of action.

Assessment of escalation situation, Project escalation management/leading proper resolutions in escalation situations.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Business, or related field.

8+ years’ experience in a business consultant role.

5 or more years proven experience as a data strategist or similar role.

Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics tools, and cloud platforms.

SAP or similar project implementation experience across multiple modules and/or industries

Leadership experience on client projects

Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to adapt to different client environments and industries.

The annual base compensation range for this role will be $171,000 - $254,210. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate’s skill set, certifications, and experience.
