REBAR FABRICATION MACHINE OPERATOR

Core Supply in Houston, TX is looking for MEP REBAR FABRICATION MACHINE OPERATORS to join our team.

As a full-time MEP REBAR FABRICATION MACHINE OPERATOR at Core, you are responsible for the safe operation of rebar cutting/ bending machines in a metal fabrication environment.

Work Location: 1212 Bammel Rd, Houston, TX 77073

Job Responsibilities:

Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations.

Operate rebar fabrication machines safely and efficiently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Complete fabrication jobs by established deadlines.

Assist in loading and unloading rebar using overhead crane or forklift.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.

Communicate potential on-site hazards to branch management.

Wear required PPE.

Work overtime as business requires.

Report for schedule shift on time and fit for duty.

Stand for extended periods of time.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Three years' experience operating MEP machines, KRB, or other rebar fabrication machines is required.

Automated rebar fabrication machine operator experience required.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to read blueprints and service manuals preferred.

Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures commonly used in the rebar fabrication industry required.

Overhead crane operator and forklift experience preferred.

Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal, are required.

Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
