About the location:Open since May 2019, in the information technology capital of India, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travellers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE is located in one of the city’s most dynamic development that includes Four Seasons Private Residences, premium grade office space, sophisticated retail, dining and entertainment.

About the role

The Director of Food & Beverage provides leadership and management for the Food & Beverage Division by establishing plans of character, integrity, and quality which result in the long-range continued growth and profitability of the division and Hotel.

This role is a Planning Committee level, reporting to the General Manager.

As the hotel is unable to obtain work permit, you must have authorization to work in India.

What you will do:

Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the Food & Beverage Division through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.

Control labour and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit in the division and hotel.

Is visible in the operation, recognise and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons through effective marketing and personal relationships.

Works closely with the General Manager and Planning Committee to designs creative menus, wine lists, and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price.

Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. Is a champion of change and a role model for innovation.

What you bring:

College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management experience is required.

Five to seven years previous experience in food & beverage department head position.

Extensive experience in restaurant bar banquet catering in room dining and kitchen management required.

Excellent communication skills and a strong, innovative mindset.

Strong community relations, able to drive F&B revenues and activations

Ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
