Position Overview:

Learning Systems Administration is responsible for the governance and configuration of systems used by Learning & Organizational Development to include Cornerstone LMS, Qualtrics, Resource Library and LinkedIn Learning.

The team maintains close relationships with SECU’s IT and other teams to ensure seamless integration of learning systems with organizational systems and practices, as well as support Learning Administrators with system questions and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and test all upgrades, patches, releases for all systems and software used by the department.

Develop and maintain accurate and auditable records and documentation of system configuration, governance, practices, etc. Manage integrations with other systems and monitor information entering and/or leaving all learning systems.

Extract, load, model, and reconcile data across multiple systems and sources to analyze and build and maintain reports and dashboards using analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or WebFocus InfoAssist. Analyze and present data to determine operational impacts and needed actions.

Use HTML and JavaScript to create web pages in the LMS for user portals and other systems in association with design departments. Must use safe coding practices and maintain complete documentation for change management practices.

Research and evaluate system features and functionalities, test, document, deploy, and establish processes and procedures. Create test plans and change documentation of all system changes and deployments.

Work with system vendor resources to maintain and elevate system functionality.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Computer Science; Data Analytics, Statistics.

Additional three years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Relevant Experience:

3-5 years

Required Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:

Data Analytics to create reports and build dashboards to provide ROI and impact metrics to executive teams.

HTML for web design, creating basic pages in LMS.

Proficiency with creating reports and dashboards in data analytics tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or similar.

Management of a Learning Management System (LMS) as an administrator.

Proficiency with Excel for data comparisons, functions, data management.

Technical writing proficiency to document research, processes, and procedures.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects concurrently, set and meet deadlines.

Self-starter and solution oriented. Ability to track through long-term projects to completion, self-regulating to set goals and deadlines.

Expert-level knowledge of Cornerstone LMS.

Desired Education, Experience, Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:

Instructional design to work with learning team to develop evaluation programs that deliver actionable insights into impact and ROI using known evaluation models such as Kirkpatrick.

Knowledge of Qualtrics for evaluation and survey design and delivery

Critical thinking to identify business needs and create solutions.

Communication to work with IT teams, vendors and learning developers.

Excel power query for data analysis.
