Ecolab is searching for a driven Fixed Asset & Intercompany Lead for future opportunities within our Finance division in Pune, India.

Ecolab is seeking a Manager to join our Finance team.

This is a key role responsible for leading and coordinating the RTR activities and serving as a finance partner to divisions and functions across the company. Also, you will be responsible of supervising, monitoring and developing the team members of the area.

What You Will Do:

Support monthly accounting RTR Fixed Asset & Intercompany accounting processes.

Contribute to achieve internal metrics defined in the agreed SLAs.

Stablish & monitor KPI's to achieve goals. Set team goals to be align with the company strategy.

Develop and maintain collaborative, cooperative, effective Partnerships with Country Controllers, local accounting staff, and Corporate Functions

Manage ERP and technology tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, HFM, EPM, Workday)

Manage team resources, being responsible for recriting process for new employees.

Maintain and improve processes, procedures, and documentation.

Support and cross-train team members on department responsibilities.

Detect, analyze, and escalate accounting processes and tasks that are malfunctioning or need to be improved and possibly launch a new project.

Support internal & external audits.

Set up goals and discuss performances with Supervisors.

Work on succession plans (detect potential candidates and develop strategies)

Build talent and career plan with the members of the team+E12.

Support managements in salary strategy & merit process.

Develop and Maintain capacity model, based on scope and process mapping.

Champion knowledge management efforts within the team by overseeing the identification and updating of knowledge, ensuring quality and relevance.

Facilitate continuous improvement by fostering a culture of innovation and supporting team members in implementing improvement ideas.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or Finance and significant work experience. Solid understanding of accounting principles. (8+ Years).

Strong written and oral communication skills with fluency in English.

1+ Years' experience in shared services

2+ Years’ experience leading a team of 10 or more direct reports with the ability to manage a large staff in a high volume and complex business environment.

Demonstrated history of direct problem resolution with positive outcomes.

Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement and/or project management initiatives.

Proven history of building strong teams, talent management and development

Self-motivated Highly focused on results and process.

Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook), workflow software, and ad hoc reporting tools and databases.

Strong organizational and management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve complex issues and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates ability to work well across different functions and business in a Matrix type of organization (i.e. Procurement, Accounts Payables, HR, Payroll, Audit, Tax, Treasury, Supply Chain, Process Owners, etc.).

Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (Sox) will be an asset.

Knowledge of SAP (GL, CO, BI) and clear understanding of payroll and financial accounting processes, incl. US GAAP.

Strong written and oral communication skills with fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Big 4 or national accounting firm and/or a large corporate environment.

Deep understanding of Fixed Assets principles, concepts, industry practices and standards

Deep understanding of Intercompany principles, concepts, industry practices and standards

Knowledge of Process Improvement tools (i.e. LSS)

Demonstrated experience leading 2 or more continuous improvement and/or project management initiatives.

2 Years’ experience directly interacting and collaborating with international teams.

2 years’ experience developing and suppling operational (KPI) reporting to leadership.

2 years’ experience being accountable for functional teams’ success.
