We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Events Executive to be a part of our integral team at Birmingham Botanical Garden, Westbourne Road, Birmingham, B15 3TR

£24,000 per year
Full time – 35 hours a week – 5 days a week including weekends
Shifts range between 9am – 6pm

What you'll be doing
Reactive and proactive sales
Answering and dealing with enquires from all platforms
Planning events
Upselling
Producing sales reporting
Producing contracts and obtaining payments
Chasing debt
Conducting show-rounds
Attending trade shows
Looking after top accounts
Completing all administration tasks as required
Experience
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE C&E SECTOR
Experienced in selling techniques
Great negotiator
Experience of account management
Experience of yield management
Must have excellent telephone manner
Confident
Ability to work as a team in a fast paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Must be target driven
Ability to close a sale
Experienced in use of CRM
Understanding of the C&E industry and trends
