Function description and tasks

• Automated provisioning and further development of robust, flexible and secure cloud platforms in a team that lives DevOps methods

• Development of standardised code modules for cloud services

• Integration and utilisation of AI in existing or new cloud platform(s)

• Carrying out tests and presenting new cloud services

• Collaboration in an agile team with a focus on customer value in the cloud

• Supporting internal customers and sharing knowledge regarding the use of cloud services

Profile

• Training or studies with an IT background or similar qualification with a focus on programming

• In-depth experience and practical experience with hyperscalers (Azure, GCP, AWS)

• In-depth experience with complex cloud architectures

• In-depth programming and scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Git)

• Advanced knowledge of Azure development tools such as Azure SDK, Visual Studio and .NET

• Several years of practical experience in the use of various programming languages

• Understanding of cloud-native services desirable

• Knowledge of agile methods and corresponding implementation skills

• Fluency in English and good knowledge of German

What is desirable

• Deep and broad technical knowledge in programming languages and in the various areas, e.g. Java, Spring, Cloud (Azure), C#, Kafka, microservice architecture, databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate

• Several years of practical experience as a DevOps Engineer

• Expertise in application security and cloud security

• Broad understanding of cyber security

• Experience in continuous integration and deployment (GitLab, ArgoCD)
