Inviting applications for the role of Manager- Engineering

We are looking As an Engineering Resource; the candidate should be responsible for all Engineering-related work as communicated to the candidate by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Best efforts, professional skills, and abilities in the performance of the Services hereunder and to provide your expert advice whenever required by the Company.

• should be able to read schematic drawings, Engg layouts etc.

• Determine the need for training and talent development.

• Liaison with Landlord and all third party to ensure smooth operation of services which supports Genpact.

• Liaise with service provider (IFM) and build teams.

• Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering teams.

• Lead modification projects that our business demands.

• Check the team’s work for technical accuracy.

• Coordinate work with other managers.

• Implementing facility procedures and performance measures to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods and reliability of systems.

• Implement the Global standard for engineering operations incorporating GENPACT, IFM Team and local statutory requirements.

• Maintaining the facility into optimum operational condition by having routine facility walkthrough including critical areas along with team

• Ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance programs are appropriate for facility.

• Tracking and updating of service maintenance contracts

• Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with manufacturer recommendations.

• Support the implementation and management of Risk and Safety work practices to reduce any interruption to operations.

• Develop and provide training to on-site teams on engineering best practices.

• As a part of Vendor Management Program, I conduct meetings, reviews, and performance assessment of technical vendors.

• Cross check the logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all M & E installations

• Tracking and validation of Electrical reading

• Identify and implement energy Saving initiatives.

• Suggestion and implementation of best practice and lesson learnt from other facilities such as benchmarking.

• Preparation and managing the documentation of audits (ISO, BSI, CMO etc)

• Assets and FMRE documentation work.

• Preparing HIRA, AIA, Objective & Targets on defined frequencies.

• Escalation & reporting of facility Incidents as per the guidelines

• Provide specialist advice to the technical team as and when required.

• Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables.

• Ensure all agreements, licenses and regulatory/statutory approvals are renewed on time.

• Ownership for regulatory and ISO audits for the site

• Prepare the budget for building operations, execution of work, monitoring, and controlling monthly provisions.

• Exploring new technology to bring efficiency to the system.

• Work with the Facility Management, Security, IT team and all other service providers to get integrated approach for seamless execution of work.

• Ensure safety and security in any kind of activity in the facility is in place.

• Control and command FM team to ensure seamless work execution.

• Will be responsible for leading all technical audits internal and external both and ensure there is no NC.

• Primary responsibility would be operation and maintenance and the secondary would be projects and engineering.

• The candidate should be a team player and expect him to work hand in hand with the Logistics, EHS, FM team, security, and IT team. Also, he will be having an integrated approach to manage the operation.

• Time management, cost management, resource management should be part of daily practice.

• Annual budgeting and expense management would be part of his responsibility.

• Managing & guiding the entire Operation & Maintenance Group towards enhanced efficiency & effectiveness.

• Studying each & every equipment/ machinery group/ system, identifying the various control & checkpoints thereby

• Developing comprehensive Preventive Maintenance checklists, schedules, calendars & implementing them in the field

• for each & every equipment line/ system/ subsystem with the ultimate objective of increasing the Preventive

• Maintenance to corrective Maintenance ratio.

• Efficient management of spares inventory.

• Efficient management of all O & M AMCs.

• Efficient management of Budget, bills & continuously working towards cost improvements.

• Improving customer responsiveness of the Maintenance function.

• Developing measurable parameters on cost, performance & customer centricity, continuously monitoring them &improving them on a sustainable basis.

• Managing vendors/ all service partners

• Explore emerging technologies, build CBA and implementation.

• He should be able to prepare various kinds of reports/ presentations as needed.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role

• Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.

• Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.

• Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Engg Grad with relevant experience (more preferred)

• Preferably Electrical Engineer

• Must have exposure to IT Campus operation and maintenance.

• Conversant with Indian Standards, NBC 2016, EHS and safety requirements.
