Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management of design to construction stage.

• Manage and oversees the project management processes for engineering and construction related works.

• Manage and /or monitoring project schedules, cost and risk.

• Implement project QA/QC procedures.

• Implement integrated Project Management Information Systems and use of industry standard tools and software platforms for project control.

• Co-ordinate discussions among various project teams to achieve project objectives and goals.

• Ensure the Project controls team produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.

• Project Reporting (Weekly and Monthly reporting)

• Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed scope of Work across integrated programmes managed across multiple suppliers.

• Support and advice on the definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and the standards required to deliver projects.

• Support the development of requirements for specific resource-loaded schedules.

• Manage a team of Engineers during the design stag;e as well as Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and Client's requirements.

2. Work closely with Project Management Team, QP(S), QP(D), Client, Contractors and local Authorities to ensure successful and timely completion of the project.

3. Work closely with Contract Administrative Team to resolve Contractual Issue.

4. Risk Management (Risk identifications, monitoring and mitigation)

5. Hold, manage and attend regular (weekly, monthly, progress) and key meetings within Project and with other engineering design disciplines to understand design issues and work out satisfactory solutions.

6. Reports the status of project, and independently able to provide solutions to problems to meet the project schedule

7. Ensure implementation of appropriate HSE procedures and manage safety of construction works on site.

Requirements:

• Degree (Bachelor or Master's Degree) in Civil Engineering recognized by BCA/IES/ACES. Member of PMI will be an advantage.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in large infrastructure projects/reclamation projects of which 5 years as a project manager or project control manager in Singapore.

• Excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Team player and able to multi-task

• Discipline, self-motivated and resourceful

• Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite of Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc)

• Experience in contract administration will be advantageous

• Willing to accept Project-base status

• Willing to travel oversea where required
