Warehouse Operative/Parcel sorter

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the Gatwick area. We are looking for multiple Warehouse Operatives to join the team.

Hours: Various shifts and patterns across days, nights and twilight, including weekends

Pay Rate: £11.44 - £11.71 per hour PAYE

Location: Gatwick RH10

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

Loading and unloading vehicles

Sorting and scanning parcels into cages

Processing anything from 40,000 to 100,000 parcels in a shift

Using hand held terminals (HHT’s), pump-trucks and work with conveyor systems

Organising into postcode areas

General warehouse duties

Requirements:

Be able to be on your feet for long periods of time

Be accustomed to heavy lifting

Be literate and competent with using scanners and relevant technology

Be hard-working reliable and flexible
