As a Mixed Signal Chip Lead in the Digital Business Unit at ADI, you’ll work with all facets of the organization to coordinate the execution of our next generation SoCs. You’ll work with cross-functional teams from concept through product release, working closely with the top talent in the industry.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

Ownership of chip top level, including design and layout

Chip floorplan, ESD strategy, top level schematics and schematic hierarchy organization

Working with Project Manager to help support execution schedule

Working with subsystem leads to ensure design meets power, area and performance targets

Working with packaging team on package, ball out, floorplan, coupling analysis, preliminary laminate work, thermal simulations

Working with backend teams, including ATE, PE, FW, Apps, to bring parts to production

Working with analog and digital teams on top level integration

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering

10+ years’ experience designing analog/Mixed Signal circuits for ICs

Fluency with industry tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Spice

Experience delivering mixed-signal chips to production

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

Strong time management skills

Desired Qualifications:

MS (or PhD) in Electronics Engineering

Experience in CDRs, SERDES is a plus

Demonstratable understanding of deep submicron technologies, including electromigration, aging and technology limitations. FinFET experience a plus

Experience with IC Electromagnetic and thermal tools such as EMX and Heatwave a plus

Strong lab skills and silicon evaluation a plus
