Junior Estimator

Prepare budgetary and estimate bid proposals, ensuring that budgets, quotes and proposals are accurate and completed with professional quality.

Analyze bid package documents to develop bid/trade scopes and ensure that all bids are prepared in a manner consistent with those documents, i.e. instructions to bidders, scope narratives, plans, specifications, etc.

Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, evaluate construction labor rates and subcontractor cost estimates and proposals.

Assist the Chief Estimator with review of project designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness and provide suggestions for alternatives where applicable (Value Analysis / Value Engineering).

Manage subcontractor and material supplier bid lists and solicits subcontractor and material supplier bids.

Attend pre-bid meetings and jobsite visits.

Assist in conducting Precon Turnover Meetings with Operations Personnel upon project award.
