POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Analyst to assist in managing the timeline and delivery of in-transit inventory from international suppliers, from port to port and through final delivery with the warehouse. This role will also support in the management of the 3PL and their processes while maintaining daily inventory and catalog accuracy.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Importing

Manage back-end of importing process, from departure of containers at port through delivery to warehouse, for all goods imported to 3PL warehouse.

Serve as the SPOC for our Importing partners for destination/US based teams

Track container/shipment ETAs through each stage of the inbound process (port, ready for order, etc.) for all inbound shipments, researching and adjusting for current market trends

Track delivery orders submitted by importing partners to 3PL, documenting and assisting with schedules as needed

Track all delivery appointments for incoming shipments, maintaining communication with drayage partners and 3PL to ensure schedules are met based on priority

Manage and share all data necessary to facilitate product ETA updates by planning team

Complete ETA updates in NetSuite multiple times per week to maintain accuracy for all incoming shipments

Share incoming shipment detail with 3PL, keeping that team apprised of all arrival detail and any changes as necessary

Review receiving reports from 3PL and receive inbound shipments in NetSuite

Maintain season availability (Collection Calendar) tracker for each new season launch and share with operations and planning teams regularly

Assist with review of invoices from importing partner, providing approvals to pay to accounting team as required

Coordinate with product team regarding importing needs, paperwork, etc. required for key accounts and custom executions.

Inventory and Warehouse Operations

Manage our item catalog with 3PL, sending requests for item creation, edit and deactivation and following through to completion

Maintain inventory accuracy through daily adjustments driven by order out of stocks and general adjustments made by 3PL

Transfer inventory between locations as needed, managing all adjustments needed based on actions taken by 3PL

Complete regular outbound performance tracking to forecast and escalating issues as they arise

Maintain daily shipping cost performance, thoroughly evaluating for accuracy, documenting trends

Manage box and supply inventory at 3PL warehouse, analyzing consumption across box sizes, ensuring consistent on hand availability to forecasts

Assist accounting team with month-end inventory reconciliation, completing research into inventory variances and providing recommendations on adjustments needed

Assist with management of 3PL ready-for-order SLA tracking

Manage LTL shipments required to/from main office, showrooms, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of experience in areas of inventory, warehousing, and/or importing preferred

4-year degree preferred, preferably in business, supply chain or similar field

Ability to create and maintain complex files using advanced features in Microsoft Excel required

NetSuite experience a plus

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to effectively present data to multiple internal teams

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently in a fast-paced work environment

Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong problem solving skills, able to conduct root cause analysis and support in creating permanent solutions
