D3 Search is currently recruiting the following Paralegal candidate (temp-to-hire opportunity) for a respected hospital (corporate in-house legal dept.) located in East Hollywood, CA (90027).

Temp-to-hire employment opportunity. Temporary-to-hire period is 90+/- days in duration.

Employer Work Model:

Fully onsite work model (Monday to Friday). Not a hybrid or remote role.

Position Description:

The Paralegal will provide support to the Office of General Counsel (corporate legal department) in the following areas: preparation, review, and processing of legal documents using form templates and managing special projects.

Organizes, reviews, and maintains the Legal Department's contracts, legal documents, and records.

Prepares, drafts, and reviews contracts and other legal documents.

Manages assigned special projects (e.g. subpoenas, debt collection, investigations, Legal Tracker).

Research & monitors and summarizes assigned legal topics, legal news, legislation, and/or litigation matters.

Prepares and files required documents for the Secretary of State and local governmental agencies.

Organizes and maintains emails/electronic files using the Legal Department’s document management/repository system.

Prepares and presents Cabinet Dashboards for executives and other internal stakeholders.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Prefer prior paralegal experience or 3+ years of law-related experience under the supervision of an attorney.

At least one of the following:

A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program is preferred,

A certificate from a paralegal program, or a degree from an accredited secondary institution which requires at least 31 semester units in law-related courses, or currently pursuing one of the above.

Hourly Rate/Compensation:

Hourly compensation is up to $35.00/hour (paid weekly via direct deposit).
