Geraci LLP is hiring an experienced Attorney. We’d like someone with 8-15+ years of experience, preferably having represented creditors. Bankruptcy is a significant plus.

Who are you?

8 to 15+ years of litigation experience required. Creditor representation, and a bit of bankruptcy. We would love someone with plenty of courtroom experience.

Self-Motivated. We do not micromanage our people. You must be able to work autonomously. You’ll have all the training you need, and we’ll help you all the way.

Customer Service Oriented. A good litigator will balance difficult clients as well as opposing counsel to get cases resolved. The art of client communication is as important as the attorney competency necessary to handle the case.

We mostly work with real estate mortgage professionals. Lenders, brokers and loan originators. Mostly non-bank. We are also affiliated with a media company and consulting company which operates conference and produces a magazine distributed to 30,000+ mortgage professionals.

We have 6 attorneys and 7 legal assistants on our Litigation Team and are excited about adding an. We believe in technology. We try to harness it to our advantage. We make it easy to work from anywhere in the world.

Vertical Integration. We are fully supported to assist our clients with whatever they may need with a corporate/securities group as well as real estate/finance transactional team.

Compensation: Competitive salary depending on experience. Discretionary annual bonus depending on performance. 1920 billable hour expectation per year.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $195,000. Compensation will be based on experience level, below is our Attorney Compensation model. For this role, we are looking for a midlevel to senior attorney which would fall under Tiers 5-7. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Geraci LLP is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Tier 1 = $120,000.00

Tier 2 = $135,000.00

Tier 3 = $150,000.00

Tier 4 = $165,000.00

Tier 5 = $175,000.00

Tier 6 = $185,000.00

Tier 7 = $195,000.00

Other compensation: “Other Compensation” includes, but is not limited to, bonuses, profit-sharing, or other forms of compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range or wage scale.

Benefits: 100% medical, vision/dental offered, 401k/profit sharing plan. The firm contributes 3% of employee’s annual salary. The 3% contribution begins after one year of employment and the first open enrollment period thereafter. There is a vesting period for the profit-sharing plan.

Qualifications:

8-15+ Years of litigation experience required

Real Estate, creditor rights, bankruptcy are preferred

Licensed to practice law in California

Location: Completely remote, or full time in our Irvine office, or hybrid will be accommodated depending on the candidate’s abilities.
