Position: Key Account Sales Manager, Japan

Location: Kawasaki, Japan

We have an immediate opening for a Japan Key Account Manager to grow our business in Japan.

The Key Account Manager will be based in Kawasaki, Japan.

What You Will Do:

· In charge of key semiconductor, electronics, and optical account customers and smaller territory customers and achieve the order and sales targets.

· Quote for the RFQ, and win new businesses by optimizing the proposal to customers through collaborations with related global functions.

· Solve customers’ conflicts in Quality, Cost, Delivery etc. with the support of application and service engineering team.

· Manage the customer relationship topics such as contracts, and organize events such as top management meeting/roadshows/tech day with the support of the country head.

· Prepare sales/order report, forecasts, industry analysis and create account sales growth plans.

· Communicate with PI’s global function teams and follow up the deliveries to the customers.

What Have You Done:

· BS or MS degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Physics, or BS or MSdegree in Business, Economics and other liberal arts, or equivalent degrees.

· 10 years of sales and key account manager.

· Logical thinking to work in the global manufacturing company environment.

· Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills, and good team member spirit.

· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

· Experience with customer issue escalations such as quality troubles, legal conflict etc.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Dynamics or experience with a CRM, ERP to handle sales data for reporting purposes.

· Understanding of motion control, piezo-technology, photonics, or instrumentation is desirable.

· The ability to travel up to 20% travel, mainly domestic but also international.
