Our office is expanding and we’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and make a positive impact on the lives of others.Compensation:

$20 hourly to startResponsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers in performing routine medical procedures and examinations

Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate

Prepare patients for examinations by ensuring they are comfortable and informed about procedures

Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws, urine analysis, and specimen collection

Assist with patient education and provide information on medications, treatments, and preventive healthcare measures

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and allergies

Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, processing billing and insurance claims, and maintaining medical records

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

Has Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or other certifying agency

Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited medical assisting program a supervised externship in a healthcare setting

Graduated from high school or received GED

1 year of prior experience as in a medical assisting role performing administrative duties or similar position in a healthcare work environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in recording patient information and performing tasks

Proficiency in basic computer skills and medical software systems

Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to help others; commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed

Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling patient information
