We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a fully remote position. We are looking for candidates in the Midwest US.

About the Role

The Wellness Business Development Executive (BDE) will drive wellness program sales through a multi-channel approach including brokers, resellers and B2B. They are responsible for nurturing sales leads that are populated through internal marketing campaigns, sourcing outbound leads, and qualifying interested prospects. The BDE will generate a strong pipeline of qualified leads and expand relationships with benefit consulting firms and wellness industry partners, resulting in securing contracts with new clients and supporting the overall growth of Wellworks For You.

This position requires an approachable, flexible and motivated employee with a positive attitude, the ability to fulfill deliverables quickly and has a history of meeting and exceeding quotas.

Success in this position is measured by achieving all sales and pipeline goals.

What You'll Do

Sell Wellworks For You products and services directly to employers and through third parties, such as consultants, brokers and/or associations

Advise prospects and clients on ways to improve the effectiveness of wellness programs utilizing Wellworks For You products and services

Present and/or attend sales and finalist meetings, virtually and in-person

Develop relationships with leaders of national benefits consulting firms to extend product reach

Proactively network through multiple media platforms

Qualify incoming leads generated through web and marketing campaigns; scout new business prospects in target markets by cold calling and using web tools

Build a sales pipeline that meets or exceeds sales targets

Demonstrate solution capabilities as required for prospects and/or broker partners

Create comprehensive proposals for prospects

Work with other member of the Sales team to review growth strategies and plans to ensure sustained revenue

Attend conferences nationally such as broker, industry, and product specific events

Utilization of HubSpot to accurately record information including but not limited to prospect information, activity tracking, documents, proposals, communications, and all information related to the partner, the prospect and the deals

Engage with Account Management and Implementation leaders to provide smooth transition during implementation

Utilize and maintain sales management tool, as directed

Provide management on status on all prospects

Maintain knowledge of Wellworks For You products to independently present to prospects and partners

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

5+ years of experience selling to healthcare brokers in the wellbeing or healthcare industry

Proven success in Corporate Wellbeing, Benefits B2B sales and/or healthcare broker sales best practices

Proven success of meeting and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the wellness industry

Up to date with the latest industry trends, and able to articulate corporate wellness trends clearly and confidently

Exceptional negotiation and selling skills to close business deals efficiently while building strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners

Possess business acumen with a strategic ability

Results oriented with strong project management skills

Ability to communicate services clearly, and understand and identify customer needs

Outgoing, approachable, responsive, and motivated to be on the phone

Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully with internal teams to ensure client needs are being met

Proficient in using technology and business software (HubSpot) to enhance efficiency and performance in business development activities

Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills

Ability to travel nationally as needed and a valid driver’s license is required

Salary

$85,000 Base plus Commission and Bonus.

Work Environment

This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.

This position is a fully remote position, with required occasional travel for meetings, client visits and conferences

Computer equipment and VPN access are provided. Employee must provide their own internet access
