Refrigerant Technician II

TITLE: Refrigerant Technician II REPORTS TO: Foreman - Refrigerant JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: This position has 3 or more years of experience and is considered to have in-depth knowledge of refrigerant piping in HVAC applications and design.

A Refrigerant technician II fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs all types of HVAC related refrigerant piping products and equipment but still requires some assistance and is supervised by a Technician III or above.

* In-depth knowledge of dry-side commercial applications and design.

* Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair all types of HVAC related refrigerant piping products and equipment.

* Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.

* 3 to 5 years' experience.

* Uphold high standards of safety at all times.

* Work to increase personal growth and knowledge of refrigerant piping in HVAC applications.

* Effective communicator with customers and management.

* Self-starter, high energy level.

* Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Also requires frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.
