Tax Senior

We are looking for a Trusts & Estates Tax Senior to join our Tax Department in our New York office. As a T&E Tax Senior, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review tax returns, extensions, and projections for returns primarily with complex federal and state individual and fiduciary tax returns, gift tax returns and Estate tax returns

Prepare and review estate and high net worth consulting engagements

Manage Estate administration.

Prepare and Review fiduciary accountings

Knowledge of Federal and State tax law

Perform tax research to resolve issues

Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues

Build relationships with clients and staff

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred

5+ years of professional experience, in a public accounting firm with Trust & estate experience

CPA or (in progress) preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have excellent client service skills

Highly motivated

Responsive to clients

Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills

Knowledge of CCH Axcess and Go File Room is a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
