Maintenance Tech II - Day Shift

Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our client's team at their Class A Office Building. This person will be responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and responding to abnormal conditions in facilities systems. Areas include: electrical, mechanical and building monitoring and control.

• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems, to identify and address any issues or potential problems.

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as repairing leaks, replacing faulty equipment, and troubleshooting electrical issues.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, addressing issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules, including lubricating equipment, replacing filters, and inspecting building systems for signs of wear and tear.

• Monitor building systems and equipment for efficiency and performance, recommending improvements or upgrades as needed to enhance reliability and energy efficiency.

Assist with building renovations and upgrades, coordinating with contractors and vendors as necessary to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with building operations engineering

• Working knowledge of:

HVAC

Electrical

Plumbing Systems

Prior knowledge of Building Automation Systems/Programing

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of UPS, ATS, Emergency Gen Sets, Electrical Diagrams and troubleshooting.
