Title: Circuit Court Analyst - Wage - Supreme Court of Virginia Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience Pay Band: UG Agency: Supreme Court Location: Supreme Court of Virginia Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia is seeking applicants for the position of Circuit Court Analyst in the Department of Judicial Services.

This position is an hourly wage position for approximately 29.5 hours of work per week.

No benefits are provided with this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities - The Department of Judicial Services offers administrative, procedural, management and information technology assistance and support to all Virginia courts.

The Circuit Court Analyst's major objective is to provide support to the circuit courts of this Commonwealth.

This would include, but not be limited to, providing telephone and e-mail support, conducting training, testing software changes and enhancements, and completing documentation.

Minimum Qualifications Most competitive applicants for the position of Circuit Court Analyst will demonstrate competence in clerk's office procedures, organizational management techniques, written communication and presentation skills, course development and training, development of training and operations manuals, and ability to interact with all levels of personnel within the Judiciary as well as other governmental agencies including, but not limited to, the Auditor of Public Accounts, Division of Motor Vehicles, Department of Accounts, Department of Taxation, and State Compensation Board.

Competence in clerk's office procedures will preferably be demonstrated by direct clerk's office experience.

Additional knowledge of case, records and financial management, along with associated automated systems for the same; land recordation; probate and estate administration; civil and criminal case processing; services to the public; and knowledge of PC systems (e.g.

Microsoft Office products) is preferred.

Position requires occasional travel throughout the Commonwealth.

Preferred Qualifications: The applicant would have prior experience in a circuit court, general district, or juvenile and domestic relations district court clerk's office.

Position requires residency in the Commonwealth of Virginia and there would be occasional travel throughout the state.

Remote work is a possibility.
