For over 60 years, APEX Technical School has helped students get the training they need to go after the jobs they want through our unique program of both classroom and hands-on instruction. Your skills and passion can make a difference for the next generation of students.

APEX is looking for a highly skilled A/C and Refrigeration Instructor to teach hands-on work with a group of students who are eager to learn. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience required. You supply the skills and we supply everything else, even the tools!

Knowledge

Install and repair various HVAC equipment

Install various types of A/C and Refrigeration systems

Troubleshoot compressor and control systems

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems

Braze and solder copper tubing

Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications

Proficient in reading blueprints, manuals, and HVAC schematics

Highly skilled in working with Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and appliance controls

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

3 years of field experience

High School Diploma or GED
