BIM Manager

Company Overview: Selectek is a leading staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to delivering staffing solutions across engineering disciplines. We are currently seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator with a specialization in industrial projects to join our team.

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled BIM Coordinator who will be instrumental in managing and coordinating BIM standards and processes across various industrial projects. This role involves a blend of technical prowess, project management, and training capabilities to ensure efficient and effective BIM practices.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, best practices, and project templates.

Oversee the creation and maintenance of the BIM/CAD libraries in AutoCAD and Revit.

Provide and coordinate BIM/CAD training, both on-site and remotely, to ensure team proficiency.

Participate in project kick-off meetings, identifying tasks and collaboration issues, and setting up project-specific BIM models.

Assist project teams in utilizing NavisWorks and other 3D software for project execution.

Conduct clash detection, maintain integrated BIM models, and manage the resolution process during project design reviews.

Maintain documentation and monitor industry advancements to keep pace with technology shifts. Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in piping design for industrial plants.

Expert knowledge of Revit 2021 or newer, AutoCAD 2021 or newer.

Strong familiarity with Navisworks Manage 2021 or newer, including setup for clash reports and selection sets.

Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D is highly desirable. Requirements:

Associate Degree or equivalent in training and experience.

Minimum of 8 years experience in MEP disciplines, with at least 3 years focused on industrial projects.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Pay Range:

$100,000- $110,000 Shift and Hours:

Monday- Friday
