Sales SVP, Data Intelligence

Our client is looking for a business development professional to be a crucial part of their growing Global Sales and Client Engagement Team. You will drive Data Intelligence Group sales efforts to achieve revenue targets, identify opportunities for products and services in the industry, and establish long-term strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration with Senior Management to help execute new initiatives and address existing/new markets and product opportunities
Maximizing sales team's potential, developing key growth strategies, tactics, and action plans, and presenting those plans to the executive team
Providing daily feedback and reporting on lead generation, prospecting, and opportunities, and developing knowledge of internal systems used to qualify and track communications with prospective clients
Generating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities through various sales activities including, but not limited to cold calling, client visits, participation in RFP's, attending networking or trade events, and utilization of candidate's network
Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's client base and achieves revenue targets
Keeping abreast of market trends, key players, competitors, and industry jargon within the data analytics/A.I./machine learning space both domestically and globally
Pitching key stakeholders at corporates across industries, financial services firms across asset classes, and other potential clients on the applicability of the Data Intelligence Group's products/services to their specific business use case
Leveraging the tools and platforms utilized by the Data Intelligence Group to understand the value provided to clients
Qualifications:
10+ years experience in a business development role selling to the financial services industry or working in a related field at a corporate, financial services firm, or consulting firm in a strategy or analytics role
Effectively using all available tools and methodologies, i.e., a CRM, phone, email, and other available tools and resources to track and provide solutions to client needs, requests, and manage overall expectations
Strong understanding of Data Analytics, Big Data, Machine Learning, A.I., and related fields of Data Intelligence (Mandatory)
Familiarity with Tableau, Power B.I., SQL programming, and other tools and technologies utilized in the data analytics domain
Strong business sense, industry expertise, and broad-based knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
Superior analytical and critical thinking skills, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
Impeccable integrity, analytical skills, and a strong work ethic
Occasional international travel for conferences and client/internal meetings will be required. You will need to be fully eligible to work in the USA with no sponsorship.
