RPG Programmer Analyst

We are seeking a Senior AS400 RPG Programmer for a full-time position with our client in Upstate SC. If you are passionate about programming and enjoy working on challenging projects, this may be the place for you!

This is an Onsite position in Gaffney, SC. Candidates must be local or within a commutable distance to corporate office, or willing to relocate to the area for this role. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate!

This is a full time Direct Hire position. No C2C or 3rd party candidates.

What you will do in this role:

Application development: serve in any Programmer/Analyst capacity as directed by supervisor.

Analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, training, documenting.

Maintenance programming. Analysis, coding, etc. in enhancing or correcting bugs in existing code.

Requirements:

Associate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. RPG (all levels). AS400, CA2E (SynOn), SQL database skills

Development experience with programming languages

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and can effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical staff and Department Heads.
