Senior Quality Engineer

Amotec is actively seeking a Senior Quality Engineer! Our client is a leading manufacturer to the automotive industry and has been in business for over 70 years. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Senior Quality Engineer will work alongside both customers and internal teams to foster the development and coordination of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives. Senior Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

Create quality systems, procedures, and inspection plans for customer-designed products, ensuring compliance with process control requirements.

Develop and implement methods to inspect and evaluate product precision, reliability, and accuracy, as well as production/test equipment.

Facilitate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and corrective action, including error-proofing methods for both customer and internal issues.

Conduct external and internal Quality Management System audits to automotive standards, providing support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in engineer preferred, or 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within the automotive manufacturing industry

APQP experience required

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
