Overview:

Join our team as an Application Engineer, where you'll use your chemical and mechanical engineering skills to support our sales team to build industrial mixing solutions for our clients in the Specialty Chemical, Cosmetic, Food and Beverage, and Personal Care industries.

To be considered, an applicant must have a deep understanding of industrial mixing methodologies and equipment, ability to build new PFDs and P&IDs across a number of industries, and translate broad requirements into specific manufacturing solutions.

This role requires at least 2 years of chemical process experience in a manufacturing environment and a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a U.S. based institution.

Position is onsite, full time in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with our sales team to design customized solutions that address complex engineering challenges. Your role is key in translating client requirements into practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Technical Design and Optimization: Use your analytical skills to carry out process design calculations, optimizing equipment like mixers and tanks to meet client specifications and compliance standards.

Support and Solve: Provide ongoing technical support throughout the sales process, addressing client issues promptly and effectively.

Travel as Needed: Occasionally travel to client sites, trade shows, and other company locations to understand client needs and industry trends.

What You'll Bring:

Chemical Process Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering from a U.S. based institution. You must have at least 2 years of chemical process experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with SOLIDWORKS, computational fluid dynamics simulations, and Aspen Plus would be beneficial.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions. You must be able to take broad customer requirements and translate them into manufacturing solutions including generated PFDs and P&IDs, and complete all engineering calculations needed to validate the design.

Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with both clients and internal teams.
