Senior Accountant and Client Manager

5-7 Years of Accounting Experience and QuickBooks Online Required

Job Summary

Forge for Business is seeking an experienced accountant who enjoys working directly with clients. This role owns the process start-to-finish including publishing financial statements and answering client questions.

Essential Functions

Manage and coordinate all accounting/bookkeeping for complex clients, this includes review and approval of Bill Pay, Settlement Support, A/R Support, and other relevant ancillary services

Demonstrate technical expertise with QuickBooks Online and accounting in general

Communicate directly with clients relating to accounting issues

Established skills in accuracy, organization, communication and working in a high-volume environment

Work with Accounting Manager and other Senior Account Managers to improve overall operations of the accounting team

Perform all critical tasks to perform bookkeeping activities: monthly bookkeeping, advanced Client Cost Reconciliation, and providing feedback and updates to Relationship Manager

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

5+ years of accounting experience

Strong experience with QuickBooks Online

Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times.

Travel Requirements

Less than 5% of the time, but occasional travel is necessary.
