Trident Consulting is looking for a Technical Project Manager for one of our clients

Role: Technical Project Manager - Oracle ERP

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multiple small finance-related initiatives involving Tax, EPM, Advanced Collections, and Large Enhancements/Optimization within the Oracle ERP environment.

Provide regular status updates to senior-level executives, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.

Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking, task management, and collaboration among team members.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.

Proactively identify and communicate key issues, risks, and dependencies to leadership, offering strategic solutions and mitigation plans as needed.

Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.

Possess a strong understanding of Oracle or SAP ERP systems to effectively relate issues and risks to project stakeholders.

Take a hands-on approach to understanding project complexities, ensuring a thorough comprehension of technical requirements, challenges, and potential roadblocks.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Proven experience managing Oracle-related initiatives as a Technical Project Manager, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Hands-on expertise with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, and Google Sheets.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential project risks and issues proactively.

Demonstrated ability to capture meeting minutes, follow through on action items, and drive timely resolution of project-related tasks.

Familiarity with finance-related modules within Oracle ERP, including Tax, EPM, and Advanced Collections, is highly desirable.

Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines with a focus on delivering results.
