Computer Aided Design Drafter

Amotec is actively seeking an HVAC Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Drafter! Our client offers a variety of HVAC solutions for commercial and residential industries. The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating detailed HVAC system designs using CAD software. This is a full time 1st shift opportunity and our client offers a competitive hourly pay, bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, for HVAC systems.

Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.

Incorporating specifications and design parameters into CAD drawings.

Generating documentation such as equipment schedules, material lists, and technical specifications.

Assisting in the coordination of HVAC systems with other building components, such as architectural and structural elements.

Keeping abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices related to HVAC design and CAD software.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

3+ years of experience with AutoCAD experience required

2+ HVAC system design experience
