A local university is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting departments in all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This Human Resources Coordinator role is a short-term contract position with mostly remote hours of 2pm-9pm. Must be commutable to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for on-site days.

Key responsibilities:

Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring completion of all required paperwork.

Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Support benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide assistance on Human Resources related matters.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in human resources or related administrative role.

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
