Design Manufacturing Engineer

Purpose of role:

As a Design Manufacturing Engineering Leader, you will play a key part within project teams to define, implement, and ensure the best manufacturing processes are used while adhering to safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Candidate Responsibilities:

Launching assembly equipment

Planning out capital for new launch projects

Purchase and implement tooling

Work closely with various stakeholders such as project managers, business development managers, customers, and suppliers

Candidate Qualifications:

5-10 years in a Manufacturing Engineering role within an automotive environment (OEM, Supplier, etc)

Experience with equipment design and development

Experience with tasks related to PFMEA.

Cell layout and integration experience

Preferred experience:

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Controls / PLC programming knowledge

Plastics injection molding experience
